Voting Guide

Before Voting, Make Sure You're Registered to Vote

*If you change your voter registration address, your Michigan driver’s license or personal ID address will automatically be updated to match your voter registration address. Students will receive an address update sticker from the Secretary of State that is required to be applied to the back of your driver’s license.*

We have guides on how to register in Michigan as an in-state student and as an out-of-state student. To register to vote in your home state if you are an out-of-state student, please use Vote.org to register to vote.
