On Feb. 6, MSUvote hosted the first of nine daily voter registration opportunities: the Michigan Primary Voter Registration Rally. The event, which took place from 6-8 p.m. in the STEM building, featured a mix of fun activities and informational tables.

Michigan State University (MSU) has ramped up its efforts to get more students engaged in voting ahead of the November general election.

A group called MSUvote is making it easier for students to register and cast their ballots.

The university has been awarded for its efforts to promote non-partisan student voting and democratic engagement. Awarded “Most Improved Voting Rate” among Big Ten schools and “Gold Campus” for exceeding the national rate on voter turnout.
